I found this cheery little political quiz on Facebook.
It's harmless, and somewhat insightful. The results don't surprise me one bit; in fact, I'm pleased!
My Political Views
I am a left moderate social libertarian
Left: 6.75, Libertarian: 1.93
My Foreign Policy Views
On the left side are pacifists and anti-war activists. On the right side are those who want a strong military that intervenes around the world.
You scored: -5.45
My Culture War Stance
Where are you in the culture war? On the liberal side, or the conservative side? This scale may apply more to the US than other countries.
You scored: -5.56
Political Spectrum Quiz
Go ahead and take the quiz, then post it if you dare :).

In other, ravishing, ground-breaking news in the world of Nicole, I went thrift shopping with my boys Tucker and Nick the other day.
And we strolled a bit more, because I'm in search for a beautiful woven tapestry to hang on my wall at school next spring. The shop unfortunately wasn't open, but we found some intriguing street art. Who's the Banksy wannabe, I wonder? We ambushed our friend Caitlan at Wegmans, where she was making pizza during lunch rush hour.
We had Philly cheesesteaks (chicken cheese, for me) on the sidewalk, watching people about their business.
At the Salvation Army, I bought an unrelentingly bright, cotton romper, a sheer floral button-down, the perfect yellow rain jacket with a hood (kind of a big deal for me-- I don't own any jackets with hoods), and a new pair of leather shoes! Found'em in the men's section but they're broken in and fit quite nicely.
And the grand total : $11.34 :D
Yeahhh buddayyy! That was one of those 'so-annoying-can't-help-but-say-it' taglines at work tonight. Cheers to the weekend, everyone!

Ahh! You must be so excited to be going abroad this year, I'm so jealous! I need to get myself together and start researching options of traveling myself. It's cool to know you went through something similar with nutrition in your own household--any pointers in making the transition? I think it's coming along slowly for us, I added some fresh items to our grocery list today when my mom asked what we needed before she went out--let's see if she comes back with as many chips and cookies as usual :P. And I'd definitely love to talk food with you, I'll hopefully be posting more on food in the near future. Old ladies in exercise classes are GREAT, hahah! I haven't taken a class yet but I watched one morning through the large glass windows while doing the machines, and it's so awesome to see women their age still moving and kickin' ass ;)!
That quiz seems like something worth taking, I'd like to see where I stand. Your town/city looks like an artsy kind of place. I hope you find your perfect tapestry soon :). I don't think my dorms allow them, but I could always take it down for the periodical checks like I've done with our christmas lights before. Terriffic find at the thriftstore, love the shoes! All for under $12 too, that's awesome!

That quiz looks very interesting! Definitely something I'll bookmark to take for later.
Despite living in PA my entire life, I've never been to Philly and never had a Philly cheesesteak... oh well, haha. That street art is cool! Definitely more so than the ugly graffiti throughout my town... I really like that fantastic yellow rain jacket and those boots, too! For less than $12? Score!
Wow very interesting!! And I love the romper, btw!
yes, but apparently you're racist against the germans.
was just joshing you.
I'm playing catch up on all your posts and living vicariously through your and your fun summer!
I took the political spectrum test, and I'm not really surprised. Clearly (who would have thought?!) I'm -7.8 cultural liberal, and am -5.6 on the foreign policy scale. I was left: 5.8 and Libertarian 4.6, which kind of surprised me!
Okay, I don't have Wegmans here, and am missing it terribly! We had one up at school and I LOVED it - definitely not your typical grocery shopping experience. Also, I love your friend's style - his sunglasses are perfect! All your thrift store purchases are amazing - I die for those shoes.
